Who am i

My part-time job is making sure that my 2 dogs have their every wish granted. All jokes aside, I am a personal trainer based in Edinburgh and I am currently training to complete a half Ironman in mid 2025. I have a passion for all things outdoors, photography and gym.

After I finished my professional basketball career in 2017 I realised my real passion was in helping others reach their physical potential. In 2018 I completed my MSc in Strength and Conditioning and also became a Qualified Level 3 Personal Trainer.

With a passion for learning I didn’t stop there. I also became a Bioforce Certified Conditioning Coach and a NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Coach in the years following.

Whilst completing my Masters I was very fortunate to intern at the University of Edinburgh where I worked in the Elite Swim & Rowing programmes for 2 years.

I then worked as a S&C coach for Sport Scotland providing support to individuals preparing for Commonwealth and Olympic competition. Sports included Diving, Swimming, Rowing, Hockey, Judo, Football, Sailing, Squas, & Netball.

Since then I have also been a consultant for many elite sport programmes including Basketball Scotland & Lacrosse Scotland Women’s Teams who were preparing for World Cup appearances.

Through my own 1:1 clients I have supported a whole range of people from complete beginners all the way to elite athletes in almost every sport you can think of - Rock Climbing, Kickboxing, MMA, Hockey, Ultimate Frisbee, Running (road, trail & ultras) , triathlons (middle & full distances), Tennis, Dance… the list goes on.

While my speciality has been sport performance I do have a very large base of clients who are simply looking to improve their general strength & fitness and establish a routine. I like to take a friendly approach to coaching and build strong relationships with my clients so you can trust you will be in safe hands!
